- Controllo e regolazione del gioco
delle valvole del motore e del
freno motore.
Operazione da effettuare la prima volta al
raggiungimento delle 1000 ore di lavoro,
periodicamente ogni 1000 ore di lavoro.
Registrare il gioco delle valvole a motore
freddo (almeno 30 minuti dopo l'arresto del
motore, anche se questo è rimasto in funzione
solo per un breve periodo).
Se i coperchi della testata sono molto
imbrattati, pulirli prima di rimuoverli.
Pericolo di incidenti.
Se il veicolo non è bloccato può mettersi
in
movimento
involontariamente
conseguente rischio di investire o schiacciare
le persone circostanti o di provocare un
incidente provocando lesioni al guidatore e
ad altre persone.
- Bloccare sempre il veicolo con il freno di
stazionamento e, se necessario, con i cunei
d'arresto onde evitarne il movimento
fortuito.
- Portare il cambio in posizione di folle.
- Ruotare il motore esclusivamente mediante
l'apposito dispositivo di rotazione.
Smontaggio/montaggio del coperchio
della testata "1"(E13)
Smontaggio
Smontare il tubo flessibile di sfiato del
motore "6"(E13) dal coperchio della testata
cilindri.
Svitare e rimuovere la vite ad esagono cavo
"3"(E13) dal coperchio della testata cilindri
insieme all'anello di tenuta "4"(E13).
Rimuovere il coperchio della testata
"2"(E13).
Montaggio
Pulire le superfici di tenuta della testata
cilindri e del relativo coperchio.
Sostituire sempre la guarnizione tra il
coperchio della testata cilindri e la testata.
Montare il coperchio della testata cilindri.
Inserire le viti ad esagono cavo "3"(E13) con
anelli di tenuta "4"(E13) nuovi e serrarle.
Coppia di serraggio: 30 Nm.

- Check and adjust engine and
engine brake valve clearance
Operation to be carried out the first time
after 1000 hours of service, periodically
every 1000 hours of service.
Adjust the valve clearance when the engine
is cold (at least 30 minutes after stopping the
engine, even if it was only operated for a brief
period).
Clean very dirty cylinder head covers before
removal.
Risk of accident.
If not properly secured, a vehicle might acci-
con
dentally be set in motion, knocking somebody
down or trapping them or causing an acci-
dent and injuring you or others.
- Always prevent the vehicle from rolling away
by applying the parking brake and, if neces-
sary, by placing chocks under the wheels.
- Shift the transmission into neutral.
- Only turn the engine over using the rotation
device provided for this purpose.
Removing and fitting the cylinder head
covers "1"(E13)
Removal
Remove engine ventilation hose "6" (E13)
from the cylinder head cover.
Unscrew hexagon socket screw "3"(E13)
from the cylinder head cover with sealing
washers "4"(E13).
Remove cylinder head cover "2"(E13).
Installation
Clean the cylinder head and the cylinder
head cover sealing surfaces.
Check the gasket between the cylinder
head cover and charge-air manifold
"1"(E13) and replace if necessary.
Always replace the gasket between the
cylinder head cover and the cylinder head.
Position the cylinder head cover.
Fit Allen bolts "3"(E13) with new sealing
washers "4"(E13) and tighten.
Tightening torque:30 Nm.

Deze handeling dient voor het eerst uitgevoerd
te worden na 1000 werkuren, en dient om de
1000 werkuren herhaald te worden.
Regel de speling van de kleppen als de
motor koud is (ten minste 30 minuten nadat
de motor is stopgezet, ook al is hij slechts
gedurende een korte periode gebruikt).
Als de afdekkingen van de kop heel vuil zijn,
maak ze schoon voor u ze verwijdert.
Brandgevaar.
Als het voertuig niet geblokkeerd is, kan
het zich onvrijwillig in beweging zetten
en personen in de buurt aan te rijden of
ongevallen te veroorzaken met lichamelijk
letsel voor de bestuurder en personen in de
buurt tot gevolg.
- Blokkeer het voertuig altijd met de
parkeerrem en, indien nodig, met de
blokkeringen om onverwachte bewegingen
te vermijden.
- Zet de aandrijving in de vrije stand.
- Draai de motor alleen met behulp van het
desbetreffende draai-instrument.
Demontage/montage van de afdekking
van de kop "1" (E13)
Demontage
Demonteer de flexibele verluchtingsbuis
van de motor "6" (E13) van de afdekking van
de cilinderkop.
Draai de zeshoekige schroef "3" los (E13)
van de afdekking van de cilinderkop,
samen met de afdichtingsring "4" (E13) en
verwijder hem.
Verwijder de afdekking van de kop "2"(E13).
Montage
Maak
cilinderkoppen en de relatieve afdekkingen
schoon.
Vervang altijd de pakking tussen de
afdekking van de cilinderkop en de kop.
Monteer de afdekking van de cilinderkop.
Plaats de zeshoekige schroeven "3" (E13)
met nieuwe afdichtingsringen "4" (E13) en
draai ze vast.
Aanhaalmoment: 30 Nm.
