C4 - Controllare batterie
Azionare l'interruttore batteria minimo
30 secondi dopo aver interrotto il contatto
elettrico tramite la chiave di accensione.
La manipolazione e la manutenzione di una
batteria possono essere pericolosi: prendere le
seguenti precauzioni:
- Indossare occhiali protettivi.
- Manipolare la batteria in orizzontale.
- Non fumare mai né lavorare vicino a una
fiamma.
- Lavorare in un locale sufficientemente
aerato.
- In caso di contatto dell'elettrolita con la pelle
o con gli occhi, sciacquare abbondantemente
con acqua fredda per 15 minuti e consultare
un medico.
Controllare il livello dell'elettrolito della
batteria ogni 250 ore.
Quando è necessario, per ripristinare il
livello, aggiungere soltanto acqua distillata.
Non
bisogna
mai
aggiungere
solforico.
Ove si richiedessero frequenti rabbocchi
di acqua distillata, oppure la batteria fosse
soggetta a scaricarsi, bisogna far controllare
la tensione del regolatore, che deve essere
compresa tra 13 V e 14,7 V, con motore a
regime massimo.
Verificare, di tanto in tanto, che i morsetti di
collegamento non siano ossidati.
In caso di prolungato inutilizzo del veicolo,
scollegare la batteria.
In caso di temperatura ambiente elevata,
controllare più frequentemente il livello.
Manutenzione:
- Rimuovere il carter di protezione 3 (fig. C4).
-Verificare i morsetti di collegamento 2 (fig.
C4).
-Controllare
regolarmente
il
dell'elettrolito 1 (fig. C4) e, se necessario,
rabboccare con acqua demineralizzata o
distillata.
-Non rabboccare mai con acido solforico.
-Se la tensione ai poli della batteria è
inferiore a 12,3 V (densità dell'elettrolito
<1,21), la batteria deve essere ricaricata.
-In caso di prolungato inutilizzo del veicolo,
scollegare la batteria.
Carica della batteria:
-Togliere i tappi 1 (fig. C4).
-Le batterie devono essere ricaricate solo
con corrente continua.
-Collegare il cavo positivo (+) del carica
batterie al polo positivo (+) della batteria
e il cavo negativo (-) del carica batterie al
polo negativo (-) della batteria.
-Effettuare la ricarica con una corrente pari
a 1/10 della capacità nominale (Ah) della
batteria.
-La batteria sarà completamente carica
quando la densità dell'acido è di 1,28 (1,23
per i paesi tropicali).
-A fine carica, spegnere il carica batterie
prima di scollegare la batteria.
-Controllare il livello dell'elettrolito.
C4 - Check the batteris
Operate the battery cut-out no less than 30
seconds after having switched off the ignition
with the ignition key .
Handling and servicing a battery can be dan-
gerous, take the following precautions:
- Wear protective goggles.
- Keep the battery horizontal.
- Never smoke or work near a naked flame.
- Work in a well-ventilated area.
- In the event of electrolyte being spilled onto
the skin or splashed in the eyes, rinse thorou-
ghly with cold water for 15 minutes and call
a doctor.
Check the electrolyte level in the battery
every 250 hours.
If necessary, add only distilled water to
restore the level.

Never add sulfuric acid.
If frequent topping up with distilled water
becomes necessary, or if the battery is
subject to getting discharged, check the
regulator voltage,
which must be between 13 V and 14,7
V, with the engine running at maximum
speed.
Once in a while, check the connecting ter-
minals to make sure they are not rusted.
If the vehicle is to remain unused for a long
time, disconnect the battery.
When the ambient temperature is high, the
level should be checked more frequently.
Maintenance :
- Lift out protective casing 3 (fig. C4).
-Check connections 2 (fig. C4).
-Check electrolyte levels regularly

-Only use direct current (DC).
-Connect + with +, - with -.
-Charge at recommended bench rate i.e.
10% of battery capacity.
-The battery is fully charged when specific
gravìty has reached 1.28 (1.23 under tropi-
cal climate).
-When charge has completed.
-Switch off charger then disconnect.
-Check electrolyte level.

C4 - De accu controleren
Activeer de accuonderbreker minstens
30 seconden na het uitschakelen van het
elektrisch contact met de contactsleutel.
De hantering en het onderhoud van
een accu kan gevaarlijk zijn. Neem de
volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen:
- Draag een veiligheidsbril.
- Zet de accu altijd horizontaal bij hantering.
- Niet roken tijdens de werkzaamheden of
deze in de nabijheid van een vlam uitvoeren.
- Zorg ervoor dat de ruimte voldoende
geventileerd is.
- Mocht er elektrolyt op de huid of in
de ogen opspatten, 15 minuten lang
overvloedig spoelen met koud water en
een arts raadplegen.
Controleer het elektrolytniveau van de
accu om de 250 werkuren.
Vul,
met gedistilleerd water. Vul nooit
zwavelzuur bij.
Als u vaak gedistilleerd water moet
bijvullen, of als de accu zich regelmatig
ontlaadt, dient u de spanning van de
regelaar bij maximum motortoerental
na te gaan. De spanning moet 13 V à
14,7 V bedragen.
Controleer af en toe of de accuklemmen
niet geoxideerd zijn.
Maak de accuklemmen van de accu los
als het voertuig voor een lange tijd niet
meer gebruikt wordt.
Controleer het niveau vaker in geval
van een hoge omgevingstemperatuur.
Onderhoud:
- Verwijder het beschermingscarter 3 (Fig.C4).
- Controleer de verbindingsklemmen 2 (Fig.C4).
- Controleer regelmatig het elektrolytniveau
1 (Fig.C4) en vul de accu, indien nodig,
bij met gedemineraliseerd of gedistilleerd
water.
- Vul nooit bij met zwavelzuur.
- Als de spanning van de polen van de accu
lager is dan 12,3 V (elektrolytdichtheid <1,21),
dan moet de batterij opnieuw opgeladen
worden.
- Maak de accuklemmen van de accu los als
het voertuig voor een lange tijd niet meer
gebruikt wordt.
De batterij opladen:
-Verwijder de doppen 1 (Fig.C4).
- De accu's mogen alleen met gelijkstroom
worden opgeladen.
-
oplaadapparaat aan op de (+) pool
van de accu en de minkabel (-) op de
minpool (-) van de accu.
- Laad de accu op met een stroomsterkte
die gelijk is aan 1/10 van de nominale
capaciteit (Ah) van de accu.
- De accu is volledig opgeladen wanneer
de dichtheid van het zuur 1,28 (1,23
voor tropische landen) bedraagt.
- Als de accu opgeladen is, schakel de
lader uit en koppel de accu los.
- Controleer het elektrolytpeil.
