A2 - Controllare il livello del liquido di
raffreddamento
Sistema pressurizzato: il liquido di
raffreddamento bollente può causare
gravi ustioni. Quando si deve aprire il
tappo di rifornimento, arrestare il motore
e attendere che i componenti del circuito
di raffreddamento si siano raffreddati.
Allentare il tappo a pressione lentamente
per scaricare la pressione.
Non
aggiungere
mai
liquido
raffreddamento freddo a motore caldo.
In caso di emergenza, è possibile utilizzare
l'acqua come liquido di raffreddamento, e
procedere poi, il più rapidamente possibile,
al cambio del liquido del circuito di
raffreddamento (vedi: 3 - MANUTENZIONE:
F1 - LIQUIDO DI RAFFREDDAMENTO).
Quando si esegue qualsiasi manutenzione
o
riparazione
del
sistema
raffreddamento del motore, la procedura
deve essere eseguita con il motore a
livello del suolo. Questo permette di
controllare accuratamente il livello del
liquido di raffreddamento. In questo
modo è possibile inoltre evitare il rischio
di introdurre un blocco d'aria nel sistema
di raffreddamento.
- Aprire il cofano motore.
- Controllare il corretto livello rispetto al
centro dell'indicatore "1" (fig. A2).
- Se necessario, aggiungere liquido di
raffreddamento (vedi: 3 - MANUTENZIONE:
LUBRIFICANTI E CARBURANTE).
- Portare lentamente il tappo del radiatore
"2" (fig. A2) fino all'arresto di sicurezza.
- Lasciar fuoriuscire la pressione e il vapore.
- Premere il tappo e rimuoverlo mediante
rotazione.
- Aggiungere il liquido di raffreddamento
attraverso l'orifizio di riempimento "3"
(fig. A2) fino al centro dell'indicatore "1"
(fig. A2).
- Ingrassare leggermente l'orifizio di
riempimento per facilitare la posa e la
rimozione del tappo del radiatore.
- Mediante un controllo visivo accertarsi che
non vi siano perdite sul radiatore e sulle
tubazioni.

System pressurised: the boiling coolant
can cause serious burns. Before opening
the filler cap, stop the engine and allow
the cooling circuit components to cool
down.Slacken the pressure cap slowly to
discharge pressure.
Never add cold cooling liquid in a hot engi-

In an emergency, water can be used as
coolant; proceed as rapidly as possible,
to change the liquid in the coo-ling circuit
(see: 3 – MAINTENANCE: F1 – COOLANT).
When maintenance or repairs are carri-
di
ed out on the engine cooling system, the
operations must be carried out with the
engine resting level on the ground. This
makes it possible to check the coolant
level accurately. It is thus also possible to
avoid the risk of introducing an air bubble
in the cooling system.
- Open the engine hood.- Check the correct
level with respect to the centre of the
indicator "1" (Fig. A2).
- If necessary, add coolant (see: 3 -
MAINTENANCE: LUBRICANTS AND FUEL).
- Slowly turn the radiator cap "2" (Fig. A2)
up to the safety stop.
- Discharge the pressure and the vapour-
Press the cap and rotate to remove it.
- Add coolant through the filler hole "3" (Fig.
A2) up to the centre level of indicator "1"
(Fig. A2).
- Grease the filler hole slightly to make it
easier to fit and remove the radiator cap.-
Inspect the radiator and pipes for leaks.

A2 - Het peil van de koelvloeistof
Systeem onder druk: de kokende koelvloeistof
kan ernstige brandwonden veroorzaken.
Wanneer de bijvuldop geopend moet
worden, zet de motor stil en wacht totdat de
onderdelen van het koelcircuit afgekoeld zijn.
Draai de dop langzaam los om de druk af te
voeren.
Voeg nooit koude koelvloeistof toe
wanneer de motor warm is.
In geval van nood is het mogelijk
o m
koelvloeistof. Het koelcircuit moet
vervolgens zo snel mogelijk worden
geleegd (zie: 3 - ONDERHOUD: F1 -
KOELVLOEISTOF).
Elk onderhoud of elke herstelling van
het koelsysteem van de motor dient
uitgevoerd te worden met de motor op
grondniveau. Hiermee kan het peil van
de koelvloeistof gecontroleerd worden.
Op deze manier wordt bovendien het
risico vermeden dat er een luchtbel in het
koelsysteem wordt gevormd.
- Open de motorkap.
- Controleer het correcte niveau ten
opzichte van het middelpunt van de
indicator "1" (Fig.A2).
- Voeg zo nodig koelvloeistof toe (zie: 3
- ONDERHOUD: SMEERMIDDELEN EN
BRANDSTOF).
- Draai de dop van de radiator "2" (Fig.A2)
langzaam tot aan de veiligheidsstop.
- Voer de druk en de stoom af.
- Druk op de dop, draai eraan en verwijder
hem.
- Vul de koelvloeistof bij via de vulopening
"3" (Fig.A2) tot aan het middelpunt van de
indicator "1" (Fig.A2).
- Smeer de vulopening een beetje om het
aanbrengen en verwijderen van de dop
van de radiator te vereenvoudigen.
- Controleer visueel of er geen lekkages zijn
op de radiator en de leidingen.
