Binding Function
To enable transmitter and receiver to work together, they must be bound by the same digital code. In the delivery state,
transmitter and receiver are aligned with each other and can be used at once. The binding settings must be renewed
mainly after a replacement of the transmitter or receiver or to remove any interferences.
Since other manufacturers use different encoding methods, transmitter and receiver cannot be combined and opera-
ted with products of other companies.
Re-establishing the binding:
To recover the binding between the transmitter and receiver, the receiver must be removed from the model and all
servos, as well as the gyro and the flight controller, must be disconnected. In practice, it has proven valuable to apply
the plug connections at the receiver with numbered stickers to be able to connect everything properly again later.
The receiver and the remote control transmitter must be in direct proximity to each other (max. 1m distance).
• Switch off the transmitter.
• Connect the enclosed programming plug (1) to the
„BATT" connection of the receiver.
• The power supply of the receiver (receiver battery or
speed controller of the model helicopter) is connected
to any output of the receiver.
• Switch on the receiver. The receiver LED (2) starts to
flash.
• Push the binding switch at the transmitter (also see
figure 1, item 12) and switch the transmitter with the
on/off switch (also see figure 1, item 9).
The LED display at the transmitter (also see figure 1,
item 11) is lit green first and starts flashing red.
• The LED in the receiver (2) goes out after a brief time
and binding is completed.
• Switch off the receiver and then the transmitter.
• Push the binding switch at the transmitter again so
that the transmitter works in regular operation next
time it is switched on.
• Remove the programming plug and the power supply
from the receiver and install the receiver in the model
again.
• Connect the servos, the gyro and the flight controller
to the receiver again.
Observe the correct connection sequence and polarity of the plug connectors. When binding between the transmit-
ter and the receiver is correct, the LED in the receiver remains lit.
• Then check the function of the model helicopter.
The receiver or the servos now must react to the control signals of the transmitter. If this is not the case,
repeat binding.
