a) General
The product does not belong in the normal household waste.
Please dispose of the product in accordance with the current statutory regulations when it is no longer
usable.
b) Normal and rechargeable batteries
As the consumer, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all spent batteries and accumulators; dispo-
sal in household waste is forbidden!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries that contain hazardous material are marked with these symbols to notify
you that it is prohibited to dispose of them with the household waste. The designations of the relevant
heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead (designation is on the battery/rechargeable
battery, e.g. under the rubbish bin icons shown left).
You can return spent batteries and rechargeable batteries free of charge at the collection points in your municipality,
our stores, or wherever batteries/accumulators are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
