15. VOLTAGE INDICATOR FOR LITHIUM BATTERIES
The charger can display the current voltages of lithium battery cells.
However, the lithium battery must have a balancer connector, which has to be plugged into the charger
(either directly or via the balancer board).
Proceed as follows:
• Use the "INC" or DEC" buttons to select the function "LI BATT METER".
• Confirm your selection by pressing the "ENTER/START" button.
The voltage is now displayed.
• With the "INC" or "DEC" buttons, you can toggle between:
- Individual voltages of the cells 1 - 6
- Individual voltages of the cells 7 - 8
- Total voltage ("MAIN"), maximum cell voltage ("H") and minimum cell
voltage ("L")
The display of individual voltages naturally depends on the number of cells.
In the example picture on the right, we may have a 3-cell LiPo battery (or a
multi-cell LiPo battery with defective cells or defective balancer connec-
tors).
Displaying the maximum cell voltage ("H") and the minimum cell voltage ("L") of all cells of the connected battery
pack allows you to see the differences in the voltage levels of the cells at a glance.
• With the "BATT/PROG/STOP" button, you can return to the main menu as usual.
