If these two cell numbers do not match, please check both the settings in the charger and the battery
pack. It could be that the battery is deeply discharged or has a defective cell. Do not charge those batte-
ries; they carry the risk of fire and explosion!
Use the "BATT/PROG/STOP" button to return to the previous setup menu.
• If the two cell numbers match, start charging by briefly pressing the "ENTER/START" button.
• After charging starts, various pieces of information about the charging
progress are shown on the display.
Example:
The battery type ("Li2S" = lithium battery with 2 cells) is shown at the top left, the charging current top centre and
the current battery voltage top right.
Bottom left has the current battery program ("CHG" = "CHARGE"); the elapsed charging time is in the middle and
to the right the charged capacity in mAh.
During charging/discharging, you can press the "DEC" button repeatedly to display different information on
screen. The charger returns to the normal display when no button is pressed within a few seconds. On this
point, refer to the information in Chapter 18.
• An audible signal sounds (if this feature has not been turned off) when charging is complete.
Press the "BATT/PROG/STOP" button if you wish to abort charging.
