g) Charging the battery directly via the balancer connector ("MICRO CHG")
This program enables the charger to charge the lithium battery directly via the balancer connector. It is not necessa-
ry to connect the battery to the two charging sockets (5).
The balancer connector of the battery can be either plugged directly into the charger or connected via the provided
balancer board (depending on the design).
The procedure for setting the charge current and voltage/number of cells is carried out in the same way as descri-
bed under the battery program "CHARGE"; see Chapter 11. b).
The charging current can be set between 10 mA and 500 mA.
Therefore, the battery program "MICRO CHG" is recommended primarily for smaller lithium batteries (such as
batteries for Slowflyer) and for batteries with only one balancer power connector.
h) Storing the battery ("MICRO STORE")
This battery program functions similarly to the battery program "STORAGE" and is used when the battery is to be
stored for a longer time. The battery is charged/discharged until it reaches a certain voltage value depending on the
set battery type.
It differs from the battery program "STORAGE" in that the lithium battery is charged or discharged only via the
balancer connector.

balancer board (depending on the design).

During the extended storage of a lithium battery (for example, storing a flight battery over wintertime), the
battery should be checked every 3 months and treated with the "MICRO STORE" battery program again to
prevent a harmful deep discharge.
