7.2. During use
PROBLEM
• The remote control is not working.
• The remote control is not working.
• Squeaking noise during rolling and unrolling of the screen cover-
ing.
• The rain water runs over the bottom rail.
• The rain water runs over the bottom rail.
• The bottom rail moves downward in a slanting position.
• Fabric is 'open' at the side.
• Motor stops without indication.

CAUSE
➞ The batteries are empty.
➞ The motor has no power.
➞ Guide blocks are rubbing against the lateral guides. This can be
the case, for example, in areas with heavy pollution and/or after
not having opened/closed the covering for a long time.
➞ It is a heavy rain storm
➞ The rainwater is not flowing through the columns or gulleys
because the water conduits are dirty or clogged.
➞ The lateral guides are dirty.
➞ Fabric has come out of the lateral guide
➞ Motor is overheated.
➞ Fuse has tripped.
➞ System is misaligned.
➞ System is mechanically blocked.
➞ Motor is defective.
SOLUTION
➞ Replace the batteries
➞ Check the power supply.
➞ Make sure the lateral guides are free of all dirt and lubricate with
Teflon spray. (e.g. Altemp Q NB 50 Spray from Klüber Lubrica-
tion).
➞ This is normal; water drainage through the columns or via the
gulleys is limited in flow rate.
➞ Clean the openings of the water conduits so that the water can
flow away easily.
➞ Clean the lateral guides and re-adjust the screen covering.
➞ Open and close the covering 1x. If the problem still persists,
contact RENSON
.

➞ Wait a few minutes and try again.
➞ Replace the fuse.
➞ Check the positioning.
➞ Remove the blockage.
➞ Replace the motor.
