Cause of error
The HFL communication component of the inverter reports
an error
Possible causes:
- Electromagnetic disturbances
- Hardware defective
- Optical fibers (HFL) not connected correctly
- Insufficient bend radius of the optical fibers (HFL)
Error correction
- Create a service file (error code gives information about the
exact cause of the error for the diagnosis at HEIDENHAIN)
- Inform your service agency
- If required, exchange the hardware
- Use TNCdiag to check the damping of the fiber-optic
connections (HFL). If the damping is too high:
- Check the optical fiber connections
- Comply with the guidelines in the Technical Manual regar-
ding the cable routing
- Check the machine for correct shield connections and
grounding
- Check the motor and power cables for correct shield
connections and terminal connections
