Commissioning
7.1
Flushing the piping
Thoroughly clean the piping before commissioning for the first time by flushing and filling the tubes
with clean water.
Note
Do not use the pump to flush the pipes.
7.2
Filling
The system cannot be bled via the pump.
Note
Before commissioning, the pump must be filled up with the pumped medium and
bled. To ensure proper bleeding, the bleeding screw must face upwards. In addi-
tion, the required minimum intake pressure must be applied to the intake connec-
tion of the pump.

1. Close the isolation valve on the pressure
side of the pump and loosen the pump's
bleeding screw (LV). (See Section 2.4 "Con-
nections")
2. Slowly open the isolation valve in the suction

line until the medium continuously flows out
of the bleed opening.
3. Tighten the bleeding screw and open the
isolation valve completely.

Pay particular attention to your

hot media to avoid burns.
