Ensure that the capillary tubes are connected correctly (P1/P2). The function of the
pump is impaired if they are installed incorrectly.

Piping

If the pipes on both sides of the pump are sufficiently supported, the pump can be installed in the
piping. The piping must be laid free of tension, so that the tension does not put a load on the pump
housing.
Correct piping.
Caution
The pump must never pump against a closed isolation valve on the pressure side.
This can lead to damage to the pump due to increased steam formation.
If there is a risk that the pump pumps against a closed isolation valve on the pressure side, it is
imperative to ensure that a minimum flow rate always flows through the pump. This can be achieved
by connecting a bypass/drain to the pressure line. The drain pipe can be connected to a vessel,
for example. A minimum flow rate is required at all times, which is 10% of the flow rate at maximum
efficiency.

Suction and pressure lines must be adequate-
ly dimensioned according to the maximum
pump intake pressure. The pipes must be laid
in such a way that air pockets are avoided.
This applies especially to the intake side of the
pump.
If possible, install an isolation valve on both
sides of the pump. This means that the en-
tire system does not have to be drained when
working on the pump.
