Delivery and transport
3.1
Delivery
The pump is supplied ex works in appropriate packaging suitable for transport by forklift truck or
similar.
Included in scope of delivery:
– VivarA pump
– Installation and operating instructions
– Seal kit incl. screws
A removable base plate is also supplied for pumps with an output of 11 kW and above. This is
already installed ex works.
Recycling
We are sure you understand that a certain amount of packing for transportation is
unavoidable. Please help to protect our environment by disposing of used material
in accordance with the relevant legislation, or reusing it.
3.2
Transport and handling
Warning
Secure the product during transport, wear your personal protective equipment
when moving the product and use a lifting device. The general accident prevention
regulations must be observed!
Note
The system should be protected against moisture and frost.
Electronic components must not be exposed to temperatures outside the -10 °C to
+50 °C range during transport.
Observe the applicable limits for manually lifting and moving objects. Refer to the documents for the
weight of the pump. In addition, the pump must be lifted by means of hoist ropes. When lifting the
pump, it is essential to pay attention to the sensor and the capillary piping.
