Sequencing, BDS) stellen een gevalideerde nucleïnezuuraplificatietest (Nucleic Acid Amplification Test, NAAT)
gevolg door bidirectionele sequencing. Voor Vibrio parahaemolyticus en Vibrio vulnificus is dezelfde PCR-BDS-
methode gebruikt voor beide tegenstrijdigheidstests en differentiatietests.
Klinische prestaties – PPA en NPA
In totaal werden 2309 prospectieve en gearchiveerde klinische monsters geëvalueerd om de
klinische prestaties van het QIAstat-Dx Gastrointestinal Panel 2 te bepalen. Het percentage
positieve overeenstemming (Positive Percent Agreement, PPA) en percentage negatieve
overeenstemming (Negative Percent Agreement, NPA) werden berekend voor elk doelwit na
het oplossen van tegenstrijdigheden, voor alle klinische monsters (prospectief en retrospectief).
