7.4 Heating up the frying oil/
fat
DANGER of burns!
Do not touch the hot parts of the device.
1. Close the lid 1. It must click into place
firmly.
2. Insert the mains plug 14 into an easily
accessible earthed wall socket whose
voltage matches the voltage stated on
the rating plate.
3. Set the temperature control 24 to the low-
est temperature setting.
4. Switch the on/off switch O/I 22 of the de-
vice to I to switch on the device. The op-
erating control light 20 lights up.
5. Set the desired temperature by using the
temperature control 24.
- On the packaging of the food, you
will find recommendations for the tem-
perature and frying time.
- The temperature control light 21 will
be lit when the set temperature is
reached.
NOTE: we recommend heating up the fry-
ing fat/oil for approx. 10 to 15 minutes in
order to ensure that it is heated evenly.
As for the details of the temperature, please
refer to the packaging of the food, the frying
table (see "Frying table" on page 9) or to
the temperature specifications 23 on the de-
vice.

proximate values. The temperature may
vary depending on the texture, size,
and quantity of the food, as well as
your taste.
• Only place the frying basket 3 into the
deep fryer 9 when you want to place
the food into the hot oil for frying.
