This function records complete selections in the order played
onthe CD. A selection which will not finish on the A side of
the cassette is canceled and will be recorded at the beginning
of the B side.

A, B: indicates the side of the tape.
1-5:
indicates the number of the track.

1. Insert the CD.

Press the CD STOP button and playback stops.
2. Insert the cassette.

Press the open/close button (4).
@ Load the cassette in the tray.

Place the cassette so its exposed tape faces the back of the
unit.

3. With the input selector set for TAPE, select the desired
DOLBY* NR mode.
@ Press the
button until [DOLBY OFF] or [DOLBY 8B] is
displayed.
® Press the (5/& buttons until OFF or B (ON) is displayed.
4. Press the ASES button.
e@ Automatic editing recording starts.
(If the CD playback has already started, stop the playback
and start the recording from the beginning of the selection.)

When the cassette is loaded in the tray, recording starts on the
top side (>).

TheA.S.E.S. may automatically shift the playback to the next
selection near the end of the tape. The CD operation can also
be interrupted when the selection ends.
If this occurs, record
the next selection without the A.S.E.S. function.
