m Listening to memorized stations ( [5])
1. Press the {¥) button and the station display [ST-] will
appear.

This operation is not necessary when using the remote con-
trol.
2. Press the © or & button to select a preset memo-
rized station.
@ The STATION "+" and "—" buttons on the remote control
can also be used.
m Use the remote control unit NUMBER
KEYs when
selecting the desired station to memorize. ( [6] )

NOTE:
The NUMBER KEYs on the remote control unit can only select the
memory channel when the input selector is set to tuner.

RDS (Radio Data System)
BROADCAST RECEPTION
What is the RDS (Radio Data System)?
In the RDS system, FM broadcast stations transmit information
such as the station name and program type in addition to audio
signals. This unit receives and displays the following three kinds
of data; RT, PS and PTY.
RT/PGM
If an RDS signal is received, " 4 " lights in the display sec-
tion of the RDS indicator. Each type of data can be displayed
only when this message is displayed.

Press again until [RDS MODE] is displayed.
®@ The data is displayed after [RT] flashes for 3 seconds.
