m PTY Search Operation
@ Call the station memory in sequence from the last FM sta-
tion that was listened to.
@ Ifthe specified PTY and the PTY of the received broadcast
conform, the station number, frequency and program type
are displayed in sequence and the broadcast sound is out-
put for 6 seconds.
m Remote control unit operation
The PTY search cannot be operated by the remote control.
@® Repeat this operation for stations ST-1 to ST-36.
@ lfthe
button is pressed during a search operation, the
search stops and the PTY mode is set.
The following are the 16 PTY data titles transmitted.

(Middle of the Road Music), "Easy listening" music, often vocal and usually of short dura-
tion {less than 5 min.).
Classical Music for nonspecialist appreciation. Examples are instrumental music and choral
