CONNECTIONS
3. Connect the system cable to the stereo tuner amplifi-
er.
@® To insert
Hold the connector, then press in firmly until a click is heard.
To remove
Hold the connector securely on both sides and pull out.
4. Connect the satellite speakers.

@ While pressing the lever, insert the cord.
®@ Pull the cords lightly to check that the connections are secure,
NOTE:
The left and right satellite speakers will be damaged if they are
connected to another stereo or to a television.
5. Connect the subwoofer.

Align the plug direction so it corresponds with the pins.
@ To remove
Pinch the top and bottom sides of the connector to pull out
the cord.

6. Finally, connect the power cord to the AC wall sock-
et.
Connection with other devices (Fig. A)
@ VCR or DAT
@ AUX terminal
ALaserDisc player, VCR (video deck), DAT and other com-
ponents can be connected to the output terminals. Select
[AUX] by pressing the FUNC. button on the remote control
to switch to this system.

REC OUT terminal
Connect the input and output terminals of other compo-
nents VCR (video deck), DAT, etc. to these jacks.
Output is not possible when the input selector of this sys-
tem is set to [AUX].

When reception quality is insufficient with the sup-
plied antennas

Purchase and connect outdoor AM and FM antennas (avail-
able commercially)
Connecting an external AM antenna (Fig. ®)
@ Indoor AM antenna
@ Outdoor AM antenna
® Vinyl insulated wire (5~6 meters)
@ AM loop antenna
Do not disconnect the AM loop antenna, even when a separate
AM antenna is connected.
