RDS (Radio Data System) BROADCAST RECEPTION
{When there is both RT data and PS data (broadcast station name}]
@ After the RT data display has scrolled, the broadcast station
name is displayed and then this data display is repeated.
[When there is no PS data]
@ After [NO DATA] is displayed for 2 seconds, the frequency dis-
play appears.

The frequency is also displayed when RDS reception is not pos-
sible.
(There is no RT, but PS data is present]
@
(NO RADIO TEXT DATA display and broadcast station name
are displayed alternately.

Press the DISPLAY button during FM broadcast reception and
select [RT].

Main unit operation: When the RDS made is selected, press
the & or & button so that the display shows [RDS OFF]
(after a few seconds, the display wil] automatically return
to the frequency or station display).

PS (Program Service Name) DATA DISPLAY ({ {2])
This refers to the broadcast station name transmitted by an FM
broadcast station.
1. Press the {] button during FM program reception.

Press again until [RDS MODE} is displayed.
@ This operation is not necessary during RDS data display.
2. Press the 63 or &) button to select [PS].
@ The station name is displayed after [PS] flashes for 3 sec-
onds.

The PS/RPT indicator on the front panel lights.
