Note:
MULTIPLE POWER SUPPLY CIRCUITS. CHECK
THAT THE STEAM GENERATOR IS DISCONNECTED FROM
THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE PERFORMING SERVICING!
Repair and maintenance of the device must be performed by a
qualified professional.
To check/clean the electrodes, proceed as follows:
1.
Cut off the power supply to the steam generator.
2.
Disconnect the cables connected to the electrodes.
3.
Remove the electrode bushing from the level pipe. Clean the
electrodes with a cloth to remove any deposits. In the worst
case, the electrode bushing will need to be replaced, see the
"Spare parts list" section.
4.
After checking/cleaning, refit the electrodes.
IMPORTANT!
The electrode pins must not have fat depo-
sits or other deposits on them. The electrode pins must not touch
each other or touch the inside of the walls of the level pipe. This
could trigger a fault code or affect the control of the steam genera-
tor water level. Connect the electrodes as shown in Figure 51.
