Option
External switch (Tylö Item no. 9090 8048) - Can be positioned
at any distance from the steamroom. Connected by means of a
low power cable and a RJ10 connector with pin connections as
in the section "Modular contactor description". Additional external
switches must be connected in parallel.
Door contact (Tylö Item no. 9090 8035) – Prevents unintended
operation of the steamroom while the door is open. Connected
by means of a low power cable and a RJ10 connector with pin
connections as in the section "Description of cabling/modular
contacts", Figure 44.
Connection of extra equipment
There is the option to connect extra equipment, such as a fan, ad-
ditional lighting, fragrance pump, etc. When installing a fragrance
pump, proper connection to the steam pipe is important, see the
section "Steam pipe connection" in these instructions, Figure 19.

Figure 39 Five different options for connecting extra equipment
The number of functions that can be connected is determined
by the number of AUX inputs. Note: Additional equipment must
always be connected to the primary unit. The secondary unit for
Multisteam has no function for AUX, fan, lighting etc.
The function for AUX is set in the Elite control panel.
Function selection:
1.
Not used (factory setting)
2.
On/Off - Used for lighting, for example
3.
Fragrance - Used for Tylö fragrance pump
Number of AUX inputs:
Steam Home - 1
Steam Commercial - 3
Home automation
To start via a home automation system the input for external
switches is used to trigger starting the steam generator. So as
not to risk inadvertent operation with an open door, adding a door
contact is recommended. For more information, read the instruc-
tions for external switches.
