Water connection
IMPORTANT!
Before the incoming water supply is con-
nected to the steam generator, the piping system must be flushed
through. Flushing prevents metal particles and other impuri-
ties entering the steam generator system from the piping. Also
remember to install the accompanying non-return valve into the
incoming water connection.
IMPORTANT!
The incoming water pressure must be
between 0.2 and 10 bar (min 20kPa and max 1,000kPa).
IMPORTANT!
Read the "Water quality" section.
It is better to install a shut-off valve (see Figure 13-E) in the water
supply line just before the non-return valve being installed to facili-
tate repairs/servicing.
An reinforced rubber hose is recommended between the incoming
water piping and the steam generator to avoid banging.

Connect the water as follows:
1.
Connect the non-return valve (B) to a water supply line (A)
with an inner diameter of at least 12 mm.
2.
It is best to connect an reinforced rubber hose (C) approxima-
tely 1 metre from the non-return valve (B).
3.
Connect the reinforced rubber hose (C) to the steam genera-
tor water connection (D).
When connecting a water hardener or water hardener+water
filter (reverse osmosis water filter) this must be done between the
incoming water supply line and the non-return valve (see Figure
13-B). (Tylö water hardener item no. 9090 8027).
