Drain connections
IMPORTANT!
Drain pipes from the steam generator
drain connections must lead to a drainage channel outside the
steamroom. If the drain pipes lead into the steamroom, there is a
risk of burn injuries when draining the water reservoir.
IMPORTANT!
There must not be any kind of blockage
(e.g. taps or valves) in the drain pipe to the drain connection on
the motorised ball valve (C). The drain pipe must have a conti-
nuous down-slope all the way from the steam generator to the
drain.
IMPORTANT!
The drain pipe to the drain connection for
the safety valve (E) must be installed in a continuous downward
direction and may not be equipped with any kind of blockage (e.g.
taps or valves).
IMPORTANT!
Check that the planned drain can handle
the amount of water in the steam generator draining sequence.
Amount of water initially emptied when the motorised ball valve
opens 1 hour after completion of a steam bath session:
•
Steam Commercial - approx: 9 litres in 20 secs
•
Steam Home - approx: 3 litres in 10 secs

Connect the drain and the safety valve as follows:
Note: It is important to tighten all the pipe connectors!
1.
Connect the pipe adapter 1 inch (A) to the steam generator
drain connection (B).
2.
Connect the motorised ball valve (C) to the pipe adapter 1
inch (A). The electric cable is inserted into the steam gene-
rator via lead-through (F) och connected by an authorised
electrician.
3.
Connect the pipe (minimum inner diameter 25 mm) to the
drain connection 1 inch (D) on the motorised ball valve (C)
leading to the drain.
4.
Connect the pipe (outer diameter 15 mm) to the drain con-
nection for the safety valve (E) leading to the drain.
