CAUTION
➢ Use the product only for the purposes described under 'Product Description'. Any other use can
cause injury and is prohibited.
➢ Only operate the product when it is inserted between the branches.
➢ Improper use causes greater wear on the product and does not save battery consumption.
➢ Never disconnect the battery while the tool is in use.
➢ In the event of operational difficulties during harvesting activities, stop the job immediately in order
to avoid damage to the product or dangerous conditions for people and check the chain's condition
and/or correct operating conditions.
6.2.3 STOPPING THE PRODUCT
•
Releasing the operating lever (7) will bring the motor and chain to an immediate stop.
•
Use the ON-OFF button (9) to switch off the tool When the LEDs (8) go out, this signals that the tool has
correctly switched off.
•
Put in the bar cover (23) to protect the operator from accidental contact with the cutters of the chain.
•
Remove the battery (18) by simultaneously pressing the two side buttons (19) to release the safety catch and
then slide the battery upwards, as shown below.
CAUTION
Do not put down or leave the tool unattended before the chain is stopped and without the bar cover
inserted, in order to avoid danger or damage to property or persons, as soon as use is finished.
6.3 WORKING AND SECTIONING INSTRUCTIONS
6.3.1 SECTIONING CUT
Start the product by pressing the safety catch (6) and the operating lever (7) at the same time.
Start cutting the branch with the machine already running and at maximum speed.
Make the sectioning cut with the lower part of the bar.
Engage the bumper (F) in the branch and use it as a fulcrum. Drive the bar into the wood and reposition the
bumper when necessary, moving forward in the cut.
When cutting, apply light pressure to the pruner chain, without overloading the motor. To achieve the best cutting
results, it is vital to make sure that the chain speed does not decrease due to overloads.
Cut the branches starting with the lowest ones and prune them in small sections.
Move the chain away from the cutting slot while the machine is still rotating to avoid jamming the bar inside the
branch.
