Needle sheath is conductive and does not provide insulation. Use of ablation electrodes without an
n
insulated cannula may result in serious injury to the patient and/or user. To ensure safe and effective use,
follow the manufacturer's directions and recommended practices.
Only stylet portion of eTRAX Needle Tip Tracking System is a tracked instrument. After stylet is removed
n
from sheath, the sheath should remain in pre-positioned location. If sheath is displaced at any time,
reposition using tracked stylet.
For illustration purposes only, needle sensor may be shown without a cover. Always place a cover over
n
needle sensor to protect patients and users from cross-contamination.
If the product malfunctions during use or is no longer able to achieve its intended use, stop using the
n
product and call CIVCO.
Report serious incidents related to the product to CIVCO and the competent authority in your Member
n
State or appropriate regulatory authorities.
See your system's user guide for reprocessing transducer between use.

Not intended for use with the central circulatory system or central nervous system including the dura.

ASSEMBLING NEEDLE SYSTEM
1. Using proper sterile technique, insert needle sensor through opening in cover, taking care to minimize
bending of needle sensor. Take care to avoid puncturing cover during assembly.
2. Extend cover over needle handle.
3. Inspect cover to ensure there are no holes or tears.
WARNING
Prior to use ensure sheath is securely attached to stylet hub, do not puncture without sheath in place.
