The rated (nominal) values can be found on the type plate.
Nominal input data relate to:
an ambient temperature of -20 °C to 40 °C
maximum temperature of the medium 40 °C
continuous operation S1 and
rated supply voltage
The connecting cables are designed for rated operation
where they are:
separately routed,
permanently submerged and/or attached to surfaces
and/or passing through air, and
at a maximum ambient temperature of 40 °C
If the routing and/or ambient temperature of the connect-
ing cables differs from this, the standards and regulations
applicable at the installation site must be observed.
If the type of operation and/or rated power supply is dif-
ferent, the tolerances specified in EN 60034 must be ob-
served and the installation adjusted in accordance with
the standards and regulations applicable at the installation
site.
Note:
Conditions at the installation site must conform to all de-
tails on the rating plate. In the case of uncertainty, the
manufacturer must be consulted before commissioning.
3.3.2. Motor
The three-phase asynchronous motor is made from sheet
metal with a double-varnished winding wire as well as the
motor shaft with rotor package. The power supply cable is
designed for the maximum mechanical load and is sealed
against water pressure from the pumped liquid. The motor
cable lead connections are sealed from the pumped liq-
uid as well. The bearings used are permanently lubricated
maintenance-free antifriction bearings.
All models are available with explosion proof motors
according to ATEX Ex II 2 G EExd.

Temperature Gauge
In the EX version, the pumps are equipped with a tem-
perature gauge set in the motor windings.
On request, temperature gauges can also be supplied for
the normal version.
For the normal version of single-phase motors, the tem-
perature sensor (if installed) is switched on internally in
the motor, so that no particular connection is necessary.
After cooling down, the motor switches on again automat-
ically.
In all single-phase motors of the normal version, the con-
nections of the temperature gauge (if installed) are direct-
ed outwards through the motor connection cable and are
connected via the wire ends T1 and T3 of the connection
cable in the control cabinet so that the motor automatical-
ly switches on again after the motor cools down.
The explosion-protected versions (single phase and triple
phase) also have a temperature gauge set, which is to be
connected via the terminals T1 and T2 of the connection
cable, so that it is necessary to trigger a manual reset.
Self-retaining EX gauges instead of the standard gauge
are installed, i.e. for series circuits for protection, these
can be reset by disconnecting the pump from the mains
(pull the plug or main switch) and waiting until it has
cooled down.
The temperature gauge set must be connected in the
switching system that shuts this down when it overheats.
