The protective cover must also be

ignite combustible parts, including those in
the surroundings.

Demounting the grinding disc
1. Press the spindle lock button
2. Turn the mounting spindle

Attaching the protective cover
5. Put the protective cover
such that the open side is facing back
towards the product.
The teeth on the protective cover and on
the product must mesh together (see detail
illustration j).
6. Push the protective cover towards the
product to turn it (see detail illustration k).
7. Fasten the wire ring
protective cover by pressing it into the flute
of the product's teeth.
8. Turn the protective cover into the working
position. The closed side of the protective
cover must always face the operator.
9. Readjust the position of the protective
cover if you find during use that it does not
provide optimum protection.
Removing the protective cover
10. Take off the protective cover

For simple removal, turn the protective cover
only after taking off the wire ring to the
position shown in detail illustration j.
