1. Align the lift ribs on the battery pack with the
grooves in the battery compartment.
2. Push the battery pack into the battery compartment
until the battery pack locks into place.
3. When you hear a click, the battery pack is installed.

REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK

1. Push and hold the battery release button.
2. Remove the battery pack from the machine.

OPERATION
NOTE
Remove the battery pack and keep hands clear of the
lock out button when you move the machine.
WARNING
Examine the chain tension before each use. Examine
the sprocket cover nuts are tightened before each
use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained
power tools.
10.1 EXAMINE THE CHAIN
LUBRICATION
NOTE
Do not use the machine without sufficient chain
lubrication.

1. Examine the lubricant level of the machine from the
oil indicator.
2. Add more lubricant if it is necessary.
10.2 HOLD THE MACHINE

1. Hold the chainsaw with one hand at the rear handle
and with the other hand at the front handle. Always
use both hands when using the machine.
2. Hold the handles with the thumbs and the fingers
around them.
3. Make sure that the thumb of the hand that holds the
front handle is below the handle.
10.3 START THE MACHINE

1. Pull the front hand guard/ chain brake toward the
front handle to disengage the chain brake.
2. Press the trigger switch lockout.

3. Press the trigger switch while you hold the trigger
switch lockout.
4. Release the trigger switch.
IMPORTANT
The chain brake must be disengaged for the chain
saw to start. Activate the brake by moving the front
hand guard forwards.
10.4 STOP THE MACHINE

1. Release the trigger switch to stop the machine.
If the saw chain does not stop when the trigger switch
is released, activate the chain brake, wait for chain to
a complete stop, then remove the battery to stop the
power supply to the machine. Have your authorized
servicing dealer repair the machine before using the
machine again.
10.5 OPERATE THE CHAIN BRAKE
Make sure that your hands are on the handles at all
times.

1. Start the machine.
2. Turn your left hand around the front handle to
engage the chain brake.
3. Pull the front hand guard / chain brake toward the
front handle to disengage the chain brake.
4. Call approved your dealer for repair before use if

10.6 NON-MANUAL CHAIN BRAKE

IMPORTANT
When checking the operation of the non-manual chain
brake, use a soft surface substance like wood to
provide the impact so the saw chain is not damaged.
1. End of the guide bar may be placed at the height
about 70 cm.
2. Rear handle should be gripped lightly with the right
hand.
The non-manual chain brake stops the operation of the
saw chain in such a manner that the kickback action
