Using the "Delay Timer" function, you can set a number of hours after which
you want the rice to be cooked. Your rice cooker will then switch on at an
appropriate time to finish cooking your rice at the desired time. Thus, you can
put rice and water into the cooking bowl in the morning – and when you come
home at night, delicious rice will be prepared and ready to eat.
Please proceed as follows:
•
Wash the rice and put it, together with the appropriate amount of water, into
the cooking bowl. Proceed as described on p. 89/90 in points 1 through 7.
•
Use the ON/OFF-switch
•
Now, press the "Delay Timer" button, the number "1" will show up in the dis-
play to indicate completion in one hour. Each press of the button will increase
the number by one. You can set a number of hours between 1 and 15 for the
"White Rice" function, and 2 to 15 hours for subsequently choosing the "Brown
Rice" function.
•
When the number of hours suitable for you shows up in the display, either press
the "White Rice" or "Brown Rice" button, depending on which variety of rice
you wish to cook.

In the display, the numbers will count down. Once the time is right, the appli-
ance will switch to cooking mode and the "Cooking" function light will illumi-
nate. The display will show interchanging lines.
•
Just like during normal rice cooking operation, the display will count down the
last 12 minutes of cooking.
