-
If possible, make condensation liquid flow out directly in a gutter or in a "white water" drain.
-
In case of drainage in the sewerage system, it is advised to create a siphon to prevent the perception of
bad smells towards the rooms. The curve of the siphon must be lower than the condensation collection
basin.
-
If condensation must be drained inside a container, the latter must remain open to the atmosphere and
the pipe must not be immersed in water, avoiding problems of adhesiveness and counter pressures whih
would hinder free outflow.
-
If a difference in level which would hinder condensation outflow must be overcome, it is necessary to
install a pump (accessory kit).
In any case, please consult the specific instructions in the condensation disposal pump kit.
It is still opportune, at the end of installation, to check for correct outflow of condensation liquid
by pouring water in the collection basin very slowly (approximately 1/2 l of water over approxi-
mately 5-10 minutes).
2.7.a - Mounting of the condensation drain device in the vertical version (fig.10)
a. Connect a pipe (16) for liquid outflow to the drainage junction (15) of the condensation collection basin.
b. Lock it adequately.
c. Check that the drip edge extension (17) is present and installed correctly (only for models SLR/SL
200-400-600-800-1000).
2.7.b - Mounting of the condensation drain device in the horizontal version (fig.11)
For mounting of the horizontal basin on SL (non-radiant) versions, please refer to the instructions con-
tained in the corresponding optional kit.
a. Cut, under the side cover corresponding to the condensation drain pipe outlet, the precut area (18).
b. Reposition the side cover.
•
Make sure the machine is perfectly levelled once installed, or with a slight in-
clination towards the direction of the condensation drain;
•
Insulate the delivery and return pipes well up to the entrance of the machine,
so as to prevent condensation dripping out of the collection basin itself;
•
Insulate the condensation drain pipe of the basin for its whole length.
2.8 - ROTATION OF CONNECTIONS
The described operations and their images refer to a machine with connections to the left on which the rotation
of the connections on the right side is necessary. If you have at your disposal a machine with connections to
the right with the need of rotation to the left, the sequence of operations is the same, only the images must
be considered as specular.
For connection of the electrical components, it is necessary to use the specific optional kit.
2.8.a - Dismounting of panel with coil (fig.12-13)
a. Extract the air filters (19) on the lower side;
b. Undo the fixing screws of the front panel (9) and dismount it by removing it from the top hooks;
c. Remove the upper insulating material of the battery (22);
d. Unscrew the upper inlet connector (23)
e. Unscrew the lower outlet connector (24);
f. Extract the panel with coil (25).
