Position heavy luggage in such a way that the heaviest point is as low down as possible, e.g. in packing
bags.
Always ensure that it is not possible for tensioning belts or cables to get into moving parts, e.g. the
rotating rear wheel or the pedal crank.

10.4 Bell

The bike bell used on your Carqon is a metal bell, which emit a high ringing sound, used to help signal the
rider's presence to other road users.
Push the bell button and then let it spring back to
produce a signal.
Position the bell on the handlebar in such a way that you
can reach it comfortably, without removing your hand
from the handlebar grip.

10.5 Prop stand

Your Carqon is equipped with a prop stand. With the help of
the prop stand, you can park the flatbed when it is not in use.

10.5.1 Using the prop stand:

Hold the cargo bike securely with both hands and push the flatbed forward so that the prop stand
springs up.
The prop stand will remain in this position whilst you ride.
In order to lift the flatbed onto the prop stand, position yourself to the left of the handlebar next to the
flatbed.
Position yourself closer to the handlebar.
Place your foot on the protruding part (1) of the prop stand and pull the bicycle with both hands on the
handlebars into the parking position.
