4 The Carqon Flatbed
The Carqon flatbed constitutes the main difference between an ordinary bike, cargo bike and flatbed.
Additional accessories to be installed on your flatbed can be purchased separately through the Carqon website
or with your Carqon dealer.
4.1 Transporting goods on the flatbed
The Carqon flatbed can transport a variety of goods. Please keep the maximum width, length and height of
the flatbed panels in mind when securing the goods. It is recommended to keep your goods within the inner
dimensions of the flatbed.
Always use tie-down straps to protect the goods on the flatbed.

Ensure that the maximum permitted total weight (total weight permitted on the flatbed is 75 kg/165

lb) is not exceeded (see section "Maximum permissible total weight" on page 12) and that the weight
distribution on the structure is as balanced as possible.
