1.5 Maximum permissible total weight
The flatbed has a maximum permissible total weight of 225 kg/496 lb which you must take note of when using
the flatbed. Your flatbed's weight must be taken into account when calculating the maximum permissible
weight of 225 kg/496 lb. Your bike's weight depends on the configuration you chose. Please note the details
in the following table.

You must also take the weight of the bike (40 kg/88 lb) into account

Do not use the cargo bike if screw connections are loose.

Tighten screw connections with the correct torques.

Warning: If screw connections are not tightly screwed, this may cause material fatigue.
Torques must be taken into account when tightening the screw connections. For this reason, a torque key
with a corresponding settings zone is required. If you are not experienced in using torque keys or if you do
not own a suitable torque key, have the screw connections checked by a Carqon dealer. The correct torque
of a screw connection depends on the material and the diameter of the screw as well as the material and the
construction of the components.
