n To prevent injury to other occupants, a worktop
(if any) must be removed. This worktop must be
safely stored elsewhere in the vehicle.
n If possible, the accessories should be secured or
removed.
n After any accident, the manufacturer's repre-
sentative must assess the wheelchair to see if it
can be used again.
n Modifications and/or replacements to the
tie-down points or structural parts and frame
parts should not be carried out without prior
consultation with the manufacturer.
Sitting position belt
The sitting position belt is intended to permanently
position the occupant in the desired sitting posi-
tion, e.g. in the event of restlessness, by difficulties
maintaining a correct position, or when overcoming
an obstacle. Attach it to either side the wheelchair
frame using the associated mounting brackets
(option).

Please note:

The seat position belt is unsuitable as a seat
belt.
Car
In addition to a taxi bus, the NEOX can also be
transported folded in the trunk of a passenger car.
See page 27 for instructions on how to fold the
wheelchair.

Warnings
n In accordance with the covenant, the
NEOX chassis in combination with
specific orthoses has been declared
crash test safe (ISO 7176-19:2008) and
provided with CE marking.
n The NEOX was dynamically tested in
the forward direction, where the test
dummy (= 76 kg) was secured with a lap
belt and a shoulder belt.
n Attach the seat in a taxi bus with a
4-point restraint system. Also use
a 3-point seat belt to transport the
wheelchair with occupant to reduce the
risk of injuries to the head and chest
n The seat position belt is unsuitable as a
seat belt.
n Worktops must be removed and stored
safely in the taxi.
