39. Maintenance
Before cleaning, checking or repairing the appliance, make
sure that the engine has been switched off and has cooled
down. Disconnect the spark plug to prevent accidental
starting. For all maintenance work
Wear safety gloves.
Non-compliance with regular maintenance work
on the device can result in personal injury and damage to
property.

3. Air filter
Loosen the knob and remove the air filter cover. Remove
and adhere the filter element. Brush off sawdust. If the
filter is clogged, take it apart in half and wash it out in
petrol. When using compressed air, blow through from the
inside. Remove the socket up to a
audible click to reassemble the filter halves.
4. Oil supply opening
Remove the chain stay and check the oil supply opening for
blockage.

When the chain stay is dismounted, remove the
accumulated sawdust from the guide groove and the oil
supply opening. Lubricate the front sprocket through the
lubrication hole at the front of the chain stay.
