37. Operation of the chainsaw
The saw-chain starts to rotate as soon as the engine starts up, so make sure there is sufficient
safety clearance!

CHECKING THE OIL SUPPLY
After starting the engine, run the chain at medium speed
and check that the chain is releasing oil, as shown in the
figure.
(1) Chain oil
The amount of oil supplied can be regulated by inserting a
screwdriver into the opening at the bottom of the coupling
side. Adjust the oil supply quantity according to working
conditions.

NOTE
It is possible that the oil tank will also empty during fuel
consumption. Therefore, make sure that the oil tank is
filled every time the saw is refuelled.
CARBURETTOR ADJUSTMENT
For the time being, adjust the L and H screw to the factory
setting by carefully closing them completely to the right
and screwing on the H needle by ³/4 turn (± ³/8). Screw on
the L needle by 1.5 turn (± ³/8).
Start the saw and let it run at medium speed for about half
a minute (so it gets a little warm)
