29. Residual risks
Even when the tool is used properly, there is always a certain residual risk that cannot be
excluded. The following potential hazards can be derived from the type and design of the tool:

Contact with the unprotected saw chain (cutting injury)

Reaching into the running saw chain (cutting injury)

Unforeseen, sudden movement of the saw-bar (cutting injury)

Centrifuging parts of the saw chain

Centrifuging of parts of the material to be cut
-
Hearing damage if no prescribed hearing protection is worn
-
Inhalation of particles of the cutting material, exhaust gases from the internal
combustion engine
-
Contact of petrol on the skin
30. Warnings on the device
Symbols for safety functions and maintenance are stamped on the device. Proceed carefully
and do not make any mistakes according to these indications.

Wear safety helmet (preferably with chin
strap), safety goggles and hearing protection.
Only use the chainsaw with both hands.
