3. General description
3.1. Application
The pump station SK 6 or SK 9 is used as an underfloor
pump station for pumping domestic drainage water and
waste water. The pump station will be installed in build-
ing which are below the sewer level or have not enough
natural fall to the canalisation. The mounted auto-coupling
system and discharge pipe reduce installation work to a
minimum. Before the pumping of chemically aggressive
liquids, the resistance of the materials must be checked.
3.2. Types of use
Please pay attention to the installation and operation in-
struction manual of the installed submersible pumps and
control panels.
3.3. Construction
Smell-tight and watertight pump station with one or two
pumps. The pump station consists of a collecting tank
with all necessary ports for the connection of inlet pipe,
discharge pipe and air vent. The pump station SKB 6 or
SKB 9 with GRP pumps are equipped with a cutter sys-
tem at the pump inlet which cuts all soft solids to small
particles, so that the liquid may be pumped through small
diameter discharge pipes of 40 mm ø.
