SELECTION OF AN OPERATION MODE
The
button allows you to select an
operating mode adapted to your needs
according to the seasons and periods of
occupancy.
By successively pressing the
key, select the desired mode.

In Automatic mode, the unit will
automatically switch to Comfort or
Eco mode according to the set
programming.
3 cases depending on your installation:
1- Integrated programming
You wish to program your appliance to execute the Comfort and Eco
Comfort and Eco setpoints according to the set time periods (see
chapter Integrated weekly and daily programming page 18).
2- Pilot wire programming
You do not wish to use the integrated programming.
On products equipped with a presence and absence detector, the
auto-programming is configured by default. On the other version,
without a detector, the device is configured in Comfort comfort mode for
the 7 days of the week.
In both cases, you do not have to modify anything. The pilot wire will be
taken into in Auto mode only and your appliance will operate
automatically according to the programmes set by the programmer
or the energy manager (see chapter Information on remote control by
pilot wire remote control by pilot wire page 10).
3- Without programming
On the version without presence and absence detector, in the absence
of integrated programming or pilot wire control, your appliance is
programmed at the factory to operate in Permanent Comfort mode
on all 7 days of the week.
Comfort mode
Permanent comfort mode, the appliance
operates 24 hours a day at the set
temperature (e.g. 19°C). The Comfort
temperature level can be set by the
user (see chapter Comfort temperature
setting on page 17).
Eco mode
Economy mode, corresponds to the
Comfort temperature minus 3.5°C.
This makes it possible to reduce the
temperature without disturbing the
Comfort temperature. Activate this mode
for short absences (between 2h and 24h)
and during the night.
Frost protection mode
Frost protection mode, allows to
to secure the installations of a dwelling
against freezing by maintaining a
permanent temperature of 7°C.
Activate this mode for prolonged
absences (more than five days).

BOOST
Important: Boost mode can be activated at any time,
regardless of the current operating mode (Auto,
Comfort, Eco or Frost protection).
To activate the Boost mode, press the button, the tempe-
rature setpoint is raised to the maximum for the requested
time. The temperature setpoint is raised to the maximum
for the required time. 60 minutes flashes by default.
NOTE: If the heating indicator is displayed, the blower is
switched on and heats the room in addition to the heat
emitted by the appliance.
- First press = Boost.
During the first minute: The heating indicator and the
Boost indicator are displayed, the time countdown is
flashing.
During the 1st minute, you can change the Boost time
from 0 to the maximum allowed Boost time as defined in
the advanced settings (see page 15 for details) in 5 minu-
te intervals (or faster by pressing more than 2 seconds)

This change will be saved and effective for the next
Boost.
After 1 minute, the Boost countdown starts and the time
runs out, minute by minute.
Note: After one minute, you can temporarily change the
duration: it will only be valid for this active Boost and
therefore not recurrent.
The Boost can stop for 3 different reasons:
- A "stop heating" command has been issued by your
energy manager via the pilot wire:
The blower stops, -- is displayed. The mode indicator
moves to auto. When the Comfort command is issued,
the blower will be reactivated until the end of the
countdown.
- FILT is displayed:
The blower continues to run but no longer heats up. Make
sure that nothing is placed in front of the ventilation grille
to block the air flow. The filter may be clogged with dust
and should be cleaned (see page 11).
