Load shedding and power failure
LOAD SHEDDING BY PILOT WIRE ONLY
An energy manager or a load shedding device prevents the general circuit breaker from
being tripped in the event of over-consumption (e.g. simultaneous operation of various
appliances and other equipment). This allows you to reduce the subscribed power and thus
optimise your subscription with your energy supplier.
This allows you to reduce the power consumption and thus optimise your subscription with
your energy supplier. The device is designed to work with pilot wire load shedding systems
only. The commands sent by the pilot wire are executed by the electronic management
system of the appliance, which will apply the setpoint correspondingto the Off (standby)
command it corresponds to. When this command is received, the appliance switches to
"Heating standby" and then returns to the initial mode.

Important: The power supply to the product should only be interrupted in the event of an intervention on the
electrical installation. The load-shedding function must not be carried out by an additional mechanical power
cut-off system (contactor, etc.). In contrast to pilot wire control, load shedding by frequent
mechanical disconnection of the power supply may cause damage to the device, depending on
the quality of the switching elements used. This type of damage would not be covered by the
manufacturer's warranty. If frequent remote shutdowns or standby operations are to be carried
out, it is imperative to use the pilot wire
(see previous paragraph Pilot Wire Shedding only).
IN CASE OF POWER FAILURE, POWER RESERVE
- For interruptions of less than 16 hours, the appliance restarts by itself, and you don't have to do anything. All the
settings and the clock are saved. When the power comes back on, the appliance will recover all the settings made
before the interruption (set temperature, operating mode, programmes, etc.) and the clock value. It will restart in the
mode that was active before the interruption.
- For interruptions longer than 16:00, check the time setting. All other settings made are automatically and
permanently saved.
