INFORMATION ON PILOT WIRE REMOTE
CONTROL
The heater can be connected via the pilot wire to an
external energy manager (central programming unit,
controller, etc.).
In this case, the commands conveyed on the pilot wire
are only taken into account in Auto mode.
In general, the pilot wire allows the temperature set point
to be lowered externally, combined with the internal pro-
gramming and occupancy detection. If several setback re-
quests occur simultaneously, priority is given to the lowest
temperature setpoint, thus maximising savings. When a
signal is sent by the pilot wire, the optimisation function
function is suspended.
Below are the different views of the display for each pilot
wire control.

Deviation from a command from an

energy manager via the pilot wire
This function allows you to change the setpoint tempe-
rature temporarily until the next command is sent by the
control panel or the clock changes to 00:00.
Example :
1- The unit is in Auto mode. The central programming unit
sends an Eco 15.5°C command.
2- By pressing
and
change the temperature setpoint to 18°C for example.
NOTE: The cursor of the current operating mode, in our
example Eco, flashes for the duration of the temporary
override.

INFORMATION ON PRIORITIES
BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT MODES
In Comfort, Eco and Frost protection mode, only the win-
dow opening
window opening sensor are taken into account.
In Auto mode, the unit can receive different commands
from different sources:
- weekly and daily programming (Comfort or Eco orders);
- 6-order pilot wire, if connected to an energy
energy manager for example;
- the window opening detector.
In general, the lowest received command takes pre-
cedence except when the pilot wire is connected to an
energy manager, in which case the pilot wire commands
take precedence. In this case, the pilot wire commands
have priority.
- In the event of a window opening detection or in the
event of an absence of more than 72 hours, switching to
Frost Protection mode takes priority unless a load shed-
ding order is present on the pilot wire.
Special case of self-programming where the temperature
3
level in the room is decided according to the learning of
the life rhythm and the selected optimisation mode (Opti
Comfort or Opti Eco):
- When switching to the Eco period, if a presence is
detected in the room, it will be taken into account and the
unit will automatically and temporarily switch to Comfort
mode.
- During the programmed changeover to Comfort mode,
the absence detection is temporarily suspended (30
minutes).
- The Boost is activated with priority over all other com-
mands received, except when the pilot wire transmits an
off command (standby), the appliance goes into heating
standby and the Boost is not launched.
