De hoogte van het stuur kunt u als
volgt bijstellen:
• Draai de expanderbout bovenop
het stuur ca. 4 omwentelingen
los.
Bij sommige modellen zit de
expanderbout onder een kunststof
afdekkapje. Verwijder dit kapje
voorzichtig met een
schroevendraaier.
• Tik de expanderbout voorzichtig
naar beneden met behulp van
een kunststof of houten hamer.
Een gewone metalen hamer kunt
u ook gebruiken, maar leg dan wel
even een stukje hout op de
expanderbout om deze te
beschermen.
De expanderbout zit nu los.
• Zet het stuur met een heen en
weer draaiende beweging in de
gewenste stand.
Zet het stuur nooit hoger dan de
veiligheidsmarkering op de
stuurpen aangeeft: de stuurpen
moet zodanig in de framebuis
steken dat de markering niet meer
zichtbaar is.
• Controleer of het stuur precies
loodrecht ten opzichte van het
voorwiel staat.
• Draai de expanderbout vast en
breng het afdekkapje (indien
voorzien) weer aan.

Proceed as follows to adjust the
height of the handlebar:
• Loosen the expansion bolt on the
handlebar stem approximately
four full turns
In some models the expansion
boIts have a plastic sealing cap.
Remove the cap carefully with a
screwdriver.
• Tap the expansion bolt carefully
down with a plastic or wooden
hammer.
If you want to use a regular metal
hammer, put a piece of wood on
the expansion bolt to protect it.
The expansion bolt is now loose.
• Adjust the height of the
handlebar by twisting it.
Never position the handlebar at a
higher level than is indicated by
the safety mark on the stem:
insert the stem in the frame tube
until the mark disappears.
• Make sure the handlebar is
positioned perfectly
perpendicular to the front wheel.
• Fasten the expansion bolt and
replace the plastic sealing cap, if
any.
