De binnenbanden van uw snorfiets
hebben een autoventiel. U kunt
dus bij elk benzinestation de
banden controleren en, indien
nodig, weer op spanning brengen.
Het kan ook handig zijn indien u
zelf een voetpomp met
bandenspanningsmeter hebt. Uw
Sparta-dealer kan u hierover zeker
adviseren.
Lekke band repareren
Hebt u een lekke band, dan laat u
die het beste door uw Sparta-
dealer repareren of vervangen.
Wilt u het echter zelf doen, dan
kunnen de volgende tips u hierbij
helpen
• Controleer altijd eerst met de
hand de binnenbekleding van de
buitenband. Vindt u hier meteen
een splinter, scherf of een ander
scherp voorwerp, verwijder dit
dan en markeer de plaats op de
buitenband of op de velg. U zult
dan later makkelijker het lek in de
binnenband kunnen terugvinden.
Stel de snorfiets altijd horizontaal
op en zorg dat hij niet kan
omvallen. Hang hem bijv. nooit
alleen met het voorwiel op of zet
hem ook nooit op zijn kop.
• Hebt u een lekke achterband, dan
laat u het wiel het beste in het
frame zitten om bijv. te
voorkomen, dat de versnellingen
ontregeld worden.
• Om de buitenband los te maken
van de velg gebruikt u
bandenlichters. Controleer eerst
of die bandenlichters geen
scherpe randen of kantjes
hebben.
• Zorg dat de solutie die u rondom
het lek aanbrengt een oppervlak
bedekt dat iets groter is dan de
plakker.

The inner tubes of your moped
have a car valve. This enables you
to check the pressure of your tyres
in every petrol station and to
inflate them, if necessary.
It may be useful to own a foot
pump with a pressure gauge. Your
Sparta dealer can advise you on
this.
Repairing punctures
If you have a puncture and you
rather have it repaired by a
specialist, you can of course
always turn to your Sparta dealer.
If you repair the puncture yourself,
we can give you the following
advice:
• Always first check the internal
lining of tyre cover with your
hands. Remove any splinter,
fragment or other sharp object
and mark its location on the tyre
cover or on the rim. This will
make it easier to locate the
puncture in the tube.
Always keep your Spartamet in a
horizontal position. Never hang it
from the front wheel or place it
upside down.
• If you have a puncture in the rear
tyre, you may want to leave the
wheel in the frame, e.g. to
prevent derangement of the
gears.
• To loosen the tyre cover from the
rim, you can use tyre levers. First
check if the tyre levers have no
sharp edges.
• Make sure the solution you apply
around the puncture exceeds the
surface of the patch.
