Kettingkast met achterbakje
Die kettingkast demonteert u als
volgt:
• Klik het achterbakje aan de
achterkant van de kettingkast
met een munt of
schroevendraaier los (A).
• Draai de schroeven van de
achterbevestiging los (B).
• Haak de onderkast aan de
voorkant uit de bovenkast.
• Buig de onderkast in het midden
iets open om de ketting door te
laten.
• Verwijder de bovenkast op
identieke wijze.
Om de kettingkast weer te
monteren gaat u omgekeerd te
werk zoals boven beschreven.

Het spreekt vanzelf dat u de
verkeersregels respecteert
wanneer u zich met uw Spartamet
op de openbare weg begeeft.
Bovendien moet u er voor zorgen,
dat de uitrusting van uw snorfiets
voldoet aan de wettelijke
minimumvereisten. Dit is
weliswaar zo, indien u uw Sparta-
snorfiets pas gekocht hebt, maar
kan, na verloop van tijd door
slijtage van bepaalde onderdelen
zoals remmen of verlichting, niet
meer het geval zijn. Ga na welke
minimumvereisten het
verkeersreglement van uw land
voorschrijft en laat, indien nodig,
uw snorfiets door uw Sparta-
dealer in orde brengen.
Fietsen in de bergen
Gaat u berg afwaarts, draai dan
het gasdraaihandvat dicht en zet
de motor uit door de gashendel in
de stand 0 te schakelen.

Chain casing with rear casing.
Proceed as follows to dismount
this type of chain casing:
• Loosen the rear casing at the
back side of the chain casing
using a coin or screwdriver (A).
• Loosen the screws of the rear
attachment (B).
• At the front of the chain casing,
release the lower part from the
upper part.
• Carefully bend the lower part in
the middle of the casing so that
the chain can pass.
• Remove the upper part of the
chain casing in the same way.
Proceed in reverse order as
described above to remount the
chain casing.

Safe cycling on public roads
It goes without saying that, for
your own safety and that of the
other road users, you should obey
the traffic rules when you use your
moped on a public road. Also
make sure that your moped
complies with the minimum
statutory requirements. This will
indeed be true if you just bought
your Sparta moped, but after some
time, however, due to wear of
certain parts such as brakes or
lighting, it may be possible that
your moped does not comply
anymore to those requirements.
Check the minimum traffic
regulations in your country and
have your moped adjusted by your
Sparta dealer, if necessary.
Cycling in the hills
If you are going downhill, close the
throttle grip and switch off the
engine by setting the gas lever to
the 'O' position.
