• Sluit een verzekering tegen
diefstal af. Uw Sparta-dealer kan
u hierover het beste adviseren.
• Laat uw snorfiets registreren.
Een duidelijk zichtbare registratie
op uw snorfiets heeft soms op
zich al een voldoende
preventieve werking. Wordt uw
snorfiets desondanks nog
gestolen, dan kan de politie hem
makkelijker terugvinden aan de
hand van de registratiegegevens.
• Vul ook de garantiekaart vooraan
in dit instructieboekje in en
retourneer ze aan Sparta
Rijwielen- en Motorenfabriek B.V.
Bewaar dit instructieboekje met
het garantieduplicaat op een
plaats waar u het makkelijk terug
kan vinden. Bij diefstal van uw
snorfiets kunnen deze gegevens
u en de politie helpen bij het
opsporen.
Framenummer
Afhankelijk van het type snorfiets
treft u het framenummer aan op
de rechterzijde van de
balhoofdbuis (B). Neem dit
nummer over en vul het in op de
garantiekaart
Beugel
De meeste fietsen zijn voorzien
van een bagagedrager met een
beschermende beugel om de
reflector. Gebruik deze beugel (en
niet de reflector) als handgreep
voor het optillen van de fiets.
Overwinteren
Gebruikt u uw snorfiets 's winters
niet, dan verdient het aanbeveling,
hem eerst de volgende
behandeling te geven, vóór u hem
wegzet:
• Maak uw snorfiets grondig
schoon.
• Vet alle lak, chroom en
aluminium delen met zuurvrije
vaseline in.
• Reinig en smeer de ketting, de
pedalen en de naven.
• Breng de banden op spanning.
• Indien mogelijk, hang de snor-
fiets aan het frame op om de
banden te ontlasten.

• Have your moped postcoded by
the police and make a note of its
frame number. If your moped is
stolen, despite these efforts, the
police will be able to trace it
more easily thanks to the
postcode and frame number.
• Also fill out the guarantee card at
the front of this handbook. Keep
this handbook together with the
duplicate of the guarantee card
in a place where you can easily
find it. This information will help
you and the police to trace your
moped when it is stolen.
Frame number
The frame number is marked on
the right side of the headset tube
(B). Copy this number on the
guarantee card.
Brace
The luggage carriers of most
Sparta bicycles have a protective
brace around the reflector. Please
use the brace (and not the
reflector) to lift your bicycle.
Overwintering
If you do not intend to use your
moped during the winter, you
should store it, yet make sure to
give it the following treatment
before you do so:
• Clean your moped thoroughly.
• Grease all paint work, chrome
and aluminium parts with acid-
free vaseline.
• Clean and oil the chain, the
pedals and the gear hub.
• Inflate the tyres.
• Hang the moped from the frame
to relieve the tyres.
• Have your Sparta dealer remove
the fuel from the tank and from
