Stoepranden
Rij geen stoepranden op of af en
probeer grote oneffenheden in het
wegdek te vermijden. Hevige
schokken en extreme belastingen
kunnen belangrijke onderdelen
beschadigen.
Verlichting
Zet tijdig de verlichting van uw
snorfiets aan en controleer
regelmatig de goede werking
ervan. Ook wanneer u nog
voldoende ziet komt het er ook op
aan, gezien te worden door andere
weggebruikers.
Tips voor veilig stallen en
parkeren
Diefstalpreventie
Het is alom bekend dat steeds
vaker en steeds meer fietsen en
snorfietsen gestolen worden. Er
bestaat bovendien nog geen
antidiefstalsysteem dat 100%
veilig is. Om uw Spartamet zo
goed mogelijk tegen diefstal te
beschermen, neemt u het beste de
volgende punten in acht:
• Is uw Sparta-snorfiets uitgerust
met een veiligheidsslot, dan
maakt u dit slot als volgt vast:
draai de sleutel een kwartslag,
druk het slot in tot het vastklikt
en neem de sleutel uit het slot.
• Met een extra kabel- of beugel-
slot kunt u uw snorfiets ook
vastmaken aan een paal of hek.
Is de kabel lang genoeg, haal
hem dan door het frame en de
wielen door.
• Indien uw fiets is uitgerust met
een SL9 slot, dan kan een extra
kabel worden gebruikt. Deze
kabel is verkrijgbaar bij uw
dealer en kan met dezelfde
sleutel worden bediend. Sla de
kabel om een boom of paal en
klik hem vast in het beugelslot.

Lighting
Switch on the lights of your
moped in due time and check their
operation regularly. Even when
you can still see sufficiently, it is
important to be seen by the other
road users.
Tips for safe storing and
parking
Theft prevention
It is commonly known that bicycles
and mopeds get stolen. Moreover,
a 100% safe anti-theft system has
not been invented yet. So, pay
attention to the following items in
order to protect your Spartamet as
far as possible against theft:
• If your Spartamet has a safety
lock, fasten the lock as follows:
turn the key a quarter of a turn,
press the lock until it clicks, then
remove the key.
• You can use an extra cable lock
or shackle lock to attach your
moped to a post or a fence. If the
cable is long enough, pull it
through the frame and the
wheels.
• If your bicycle is equipped with a
SL9 lock, an extra cable can be
used for attachment. The cable is
available at your dealer's and
you need only one key to operate
both lock and cable. Attach the
cable round a tree or post and fit
it into the cable lock until it clicks.
