Adjusting the
exposure manually
You can adjust and set the exposure. Normally
the exposure is automatically adjusted. Adjust
the exposure manually in the following cases:
– The subject is backlit
– To shoot a bright subject agaist a background
– To record dark pictures (e.g. night scenes)
faithfully
(1) Set the POWER switch to CAMERA or
MEMORY/NETWORK (DCR-IP55E only).
(2) Press FN to display PAGE1.
(3) Press EXPOSURE. The EXPOSURE screen
appears.
(4) Press MANUAL.
(5) Adjust the exposure using –/+.
– : to dim
+ : to brighten
(6) Press
OK. The display returns to PAGE1.

To return to FN
Press EXIT.
To return to the automatic exposure
mode
Press
AUTO in step 5. The display returns to
PAGE1.
Note
When you adjust the exposure manually, the
following functions do not work:
– Colour Slow Shutter
– Backlight
Your camcorder automatically returns to the
automatic exposure mode:
– If you change the PROGRAM AE mode.
– If you set NIGHTSHOT to ON.

Handmatig instellen
van de belichting
U kunt de belichting met de hand instellen.
Onder de volgende omstandigheden kunt u
betere opnamen verkrijgen door de belichting
met de hand bij te stellen.
– Bij tegenlicht, dus met een erg heldere
achtergrond
– Als het onderwerp juist erg helder is en de
achtergrond donker
– Als u een donkere sfeer (bijv. nachtscènes)
natuurgetrouw wilt vastleggen.
(1) Zet de POWER schakelaar in de "CAMERA"
stand of de "MEMORY/NETWORK" stand
(alleen voor de DCR-IP55E).
(2) Druk op de FN toets om in te stellen op
PAGE1.
(3) Druk op de EXPOSURE toets. Het
"EXPOSURE" belichtingsinstelscherm
verschijnt.
(4) Druk op de MANUAL toets.
(5) Stel de belichting in met de –/+ toetsen.
–: voor minder felle belichting
+: voor helderder belichting
(6) Druk op de
het scherm weer de PAGE1
bedieningstoetsen.

Terugkeren naar het FN beginscherm
Druk op de EXIT toets.
Terugkeren naar de automatische
belichtingsregeling
Druk in stap 5 op de
verschijnen op het scherm weer de PAGE1
bedieningstoetsen.
Opmerking
Bij handmatig instellen van de belichting zullen
de volgende functies niet werken:
– Colour Slow Shutter kleurverbetering
– Tegenlicht-compensatie
Uw camcorder keert automatisch terug naar
de automatische belichtingsregeling:
– als u een ander PROGRAM AE
belichtingsprogramma kiest.
– als u de NIGHTSHOT schakelaar op "ON" zet.
