Recording a picture
Your camcorder automatically focuses for you.
(1) Remove the lens cap by pressing both knobs
on its sides.
(2) Install the power source and insert a cassette.
See "Step 1" to "Step 3" (p. 26 - 36) for more
information.
(3) Turn the grip to the recording position, and
hold your camcorder through the wrist strap.
See "Quick Start Guide" (p. 14).
(4) Set the POWER switch to CAMERA. Your
camcorder is set to the recording standby
mode.
(5) Slide OPEN in the direction of the B mark
indicated on the camcorder to open the LCD
panel. The viewfinder automatically turns off.
(6) Press START/STOP. Your camcorder starts
recording. The REC indicator appears. The
camera recording lamp located on the front of
your camcorder lights up. To stop recording,
press START/STOP again.

— Opnemen – basisbediening —
Video-opnamen maken
Uw camcorder zal vanzelf op uw onderwerp
scherpstellen.
(1) Verwijder de lensdop door de knopjes aan
weerszijden in te drukken en trek het koordje
aan om de lensdop vast te klemmen.
(2) Sluit een stroombron aan en plaats een
videocassette. Nadere aanwijzingen vindt u in
"Stap 1" t/m "Stap 3" (van blz. 26 t/m 36).
(3) Draai de handgreep omlaag in de
opnamestand en steek uw hand door de
polsband om te zorgen dat de camcorder niet
kan vallen. Nadere aanwijzingen vindt u in de
"Snelstartgids" (op blz. 18).
(4) Zet de POWER schakelaar in de "CAMERA"
stand. De camcorder komt dan in de
opnamepauzestand.
(5) Schuif de OPEN knop in de richting van de B
pijl op de camcorder en klap het LCD scherm
open. De beeldzoeker wordt dan automatisch
uitgeschakeld.
(6) Druk op de START/STOP toets. De
camcorder begint dan met opnemen. De
"REC" opname-indicator licht op. Het
camera-opnamelampje voorop de camcorder
gaat branden. Om te stoppen met opnemen,
drukt u nogmaals op de START/STOP toets.
