Recording a picture
After recording
(1) Set the POWER switch to OFF (CHG).
(2) Close the LCD panel and turn the grip to the
cassette inserting/ejecting position.
(3) Eject the cassette.
(4) Turn the grip to the storing position.
(5) Remove the power source.
Note
Do not touch the built-in microphone during
recording.
To enable transition
Transition between the last scene you recorded
and the next scene can be performed as long as
you do not eject the cassette even if you turn off
your camcorder. When you want to change the
battery pack, be sure to set the POWER switch to
OFF (CHG). It does not affect transition.
Note
The recording data (date/time or various settings
when recorded) are not displayed while
recording. However, they are recorded
automatically onto the tape. To display the
recording data, press DATA CODE during
playback. You can also use the Remote
Commander for this operation (p. 57).
If you leave your camcorder in the standby
mode for five minutes while the cassette is
inserted
Your camcorder automatically turns off. This is
to save battery power and to prevent battery and
tape wear. To resume the standby mode, set the
POWER switch to OFF (CHG), and to ON again.
However, your camcorder does not turn off
automatically while the cassette is not inserted.
The battery life when you record using the
LCD screen
The battery time is slightly shorter than the
shooting time using the viewfinder.

Video-opnamen maken
Na het opnemen
(1) Zet de POWER schakelaar in de "OFF (CHG)"
stand.
(2) Sluit het LCD scherm en draai de handgreep
in de stand voor het inleggen/uitnemen van
een videocassette.
(3) Neem de cassette uit de houder.
(4) Draai de handgreep in de stand voor het
opbergen van de camcorder.
(5) Maak de stroomaansluiting los.
Opmerking
Pas op dat u tijdens het opnemen niet tegen de
ingebouwde microfoon aan komt.
Vloeiende overgang tussen de opgenomen
beelden
Het begin van een nieuwe video-opname zal
altijd direct aansluiten op het eind van de
voorgaande opnamen, ook als u de camcorder
tussentijds uitschakelt, mits u de videocassette
maar niet uit de camcorder verwijdert. Als u
tijdens het opnemen het batterijpak moet
verwisselen, zet u dan eerst de POWER
schakelaar in de "OFF (CHG)" stand. Dat zal
geen invloed hebben op de overgang tussen de
opgenomen beelden.
Opmerking
De opnamegegevens (datum/tijd of diverse
opname-instellingen) worden tijdens het
opnemen niet aangegeven. Deze gegevens
worden echter wel automatisch op de band
vastgelegd. Om later de opnamedatum en -tijd in
beeld te zien, drukt u tijdens afspelen op de
DATA CODE toets. Hiervoor kunt u ook de
afstandsbediening gebruiken (zie blz. 57).
Als u de camcorder, met een cassette er in,
langer dan vijf minuten in de opname-
pauzestand laat staan
De camcorder wordt dan automatisch
uitgeschakeld. Dit is om het onnodig uitputten
van het batterijpak en slijtage aan de
cassetteband te voorkomen. Om de
opnamepauzestand daarna weer in te schakelen,
zet u de POWER schakelaar eerst op "OFF
(CHG)" en dan weer terug in de "ON" stand.
Overigens zal de camcorder niet automatisch
worden uitgeschakeld wanneer er geen cassette
in aanwezig is.
Batterij-gebruiksduur bij opnemen met het
LCD scherm geopend
De beschikbare opnameduur zal nu iets korter
zijn dan bij opnemen met de beeldzoeker.
